Trading would be risky to invest but you should learn how to analyze the market and the movement of the price before you can make a good profit in trading there are lots of traders that can make a lot of profit but sometimes they are losing depends how they analyze the market for coins..
Mining would be the best choice if you have money to buy you can start buying antminer for bitcoin or build a GPU mining rig to mine altcoin.. which is common these days and for me i will say base on my experienced mining is profitable if you build more gpu rigs..  you can also resell the GPU card after you recover your investment and buy more gpu to build rig would be much more good idea just reinvest it in to mining you will made a good future business..

well , trading is the fast but risky way
where as mining is the slow and safe way.

Mining needs you to understand how it works and how to mine best , what coin to mine and many other things , aswell as your raised electricity bill that you are going to face.

Trading needs you to understand the coins that you want to trade .

The laziest way to go on is Cloudmining , but i think you will need more information on Cryptos either way.

For beginners i recommend this new blog
- BTC bitcoin for beginners , its still in the making but has useful post every day for beginners to get into the cryptogame.

Stay safe on your journey !

Trading is the best, there are so many mining bot out there that are scam.
you can start with trading and after been grounded in the act of trading you can consider mining

it is good to consider the risk of both parties, for me the good way to earn bitcoin is through mining, the legit mining site i should say.
in the other hand. you should also consider the potential of trading crypto, it is a little risky in some points but still you decision that counts

I think you should just stick to mining bitcoins because it is less risky than trading though the equipment used for mining is costly and you should consider participating on a legitimate site so you can generate bitcoins while you idly wait. You should also consider how to lessen the energy that your mining equipment consumes because it really is a handful. Expect that you'll receive an electricity bill that'll cost a significant amount of the generated bitcoins that you have made

For a beginner in my opinion mining is far better, because trading without knowledge could be even more risky, and if you are just starting with bitcoin and other cryptos you will have to invest, and we want our invests to stay as secure as possible right?
Is it hard to start mining? Not really, what you need is one decent GPU like GF 1060/1070/1080 or 1070ti/1080ti if you can afford it, or from AMD side RX 480/RX 580. Then you calculate if mining specific coin with price per kWh in your country is affordable, check what coins are best to mine with your card, download nicehash, minergate or other mining software (beware of scams and viruses) and start mining. If you are thinking about some serious mining rig, you will need more than 1 GPU, in my opinion at least 6, good luck.

Solo mining nowadays is not as profitable as it was some months or even years ago so just  try to learn how to trade and start earning money.

mining will need some high performing computers and it will also some more electricity as well. If you traded you will have to bare transaction costs and market value of the relevant coin.
Personally I'm doing the trading. Grin Grin
