Where I can from, we don't go around accusing random strangers, of being scammers, or theives. Especially not one of our own (Canadian Forces)

Lesson learned, I guess. I didn't even know about this Joey guy. I was just hoping to gain some rep.
You forget that accounts can be quickly made. How many 5 post accounts are you willing to spend $10 on to get them scammer-tagged? No matter your answer, the number of 5 post accounts looking to scam will be higher.
That sounds so unlikely.
Fact 1 : There is a 19 pages thread about this joey that keeps being bumped, which is so compelling once you begin reading it, you're sucked down till the end.
Fact 2 : You replied to this
loan donation request pretty quickly, so you're obviously hanging around the lending sub, and thus would probably have clicked on a 19 pages thread.
Fact 3 : A fair share of people who try building up reputation through trades and loans are doing so to pull a bigger scam off. 
Big enough red flag to advice anyone being very cautious with loaning to you, too.
