Eth investments usually have a nice result when investing longterm. There's also Tron if you want to make money very fast.

I wrote at couple of places. Investment to bitcoin, ethereum and monero are still great in current situation as you can guess these stable coins rise steadily. On the other hand let's risk some on various new icos maybe like hoqu.

Bitcoin is my top suggestion for long term investment cause it has higher price and more stable price value.  My short term altcoins are ETH and XRP they seem to be growing and developing quite well with lots of new projects coming this 2018 but ETH might fall because of its coming fork. Also try to find some ico's that has good tech, good whitepaper, great devs and little supply.

->Short-Term investments are not what you would wait for mid-year,that is still a long time investment since 4 months can change a lot in the scene or a coin's statistics.

Look at Utrust, they aim to compete with paypal and if they can get remotely close they will be a very highly valued coin. It's already pumped over 10x since ICO but I can see it reaching a 1b market cap if not more which would be a further 8x.

Take a look at privacy coins.

Monero and the likes have been going up in value as more and more crypto investors are trying to find ways to preserve
their privacy in the environment of increasing government regulations.

XVG went up 20x in a week last month to a marketcap of 2bil.

But the most undervalued privacy coin XSPEC is still relatively small in marketcap of 90mil.

its tech is better than all the other privacy coins..go research it. XVG is 2 bil but its tech is a older version of Xspec.

It very much depends on the timing of investment. For example, in the past 2 days Bitcoin seems to break out to the upside again, if this will happen, most likely all alts will tank and Bitcoin will fly to new heights. But it this will NOT happen and Bitcoin will suddenly dive again, then altcoins will fly. If you guess it right, you can earn a lot of money. If not, you can lose it.

For the ongoing year lot have suggested ethereum, because of the growth it has attained in comparison to other altcoins available in the market. I would suggest to go with altcoins that were around the value of $5 and with altcoins less than $1. Are you in for a utility token under ETH blockchain? You can check CAPP currently trading in Cryptopia. It still very low in price and the dev have great plans and very active on this project. This have high potential.

Spilt it up into 500 each and find 8 coins or tokens you like the most and go with that. Anything somebody else tells you will have some biased opinion for some reason or another. That is why it is best to listen to yourself and only yourself when trading, it will simplify things drastically.
