Hey all!
First off, I'm new to the whole thing as a lot are. I have a soft interest and knowledge but nothing indept. However I'm currently trying one route of mining using something called coinpot.co (uses the browser to CPU mine) and I'm running into an issue with I guess something along the lines of throttling. I'm using my custom built desktop that has a Ryzen 5 1600 (and a GeForce GTX 1060 (Twin Frozr VI) GPU on a MSI B350M
Mortar Arctic mobo) but I can't seem to generate a hashrate above 5 h/s but today I work I tried it on the work's computer that's using an Intel i5 and they got over 30. Now that computers old. Mine was build less than 6 months ago but i can't seem to do jack.

Is there some sort of throttle on my system I don't know about? Or something else? I run W10 (work's is W7) and I disable my avast for this so it does start, but just doesn't go anywhere like it really should.

I'm also looking into turning my old Intel i5 desktop (a newb build from 2010) into something like a miner (i can't sell it anyway so figured I'd burn the cpu and gpu (Raedon HD 5770, some intel extreme mobo) out trying to mine) and could use advice on where to go and what to do to set that up for GPU mining once I get windows on it again.

Appreciate it!
