My Tradingview charts say QTUM $48 but coinmarketcap and everywhere else it's $61. Am I missing something? Same with Monero $365 on Tradingview charts vs $394 on coinmarketcap and other sites. LTC seems to be ok on the charts though.

Is it simply because of different exchanges? I know Korean exchanges are thousands higher than other exchanges for BTC for example but I'm just comparing TradingView and average exchanges.

Coinmarketcap is getting an average I guess but how does that affect your trading when the charts you use are not the same charts as the exchange?

I mean 99.99999% of the exchanges have crappy charts.

you knew the fact that Coinmarketcap showing us an average price from different exchanges,
and because of that the price will be slightly different if we are seeing it on tradingview or other live chart.
but will it affect us ?
of course not, coinmarketcap only is a place for us to see an average price and the price for every exchanges.
while tradingview is a place for us to make a strategy from 1 exchange or others.
in brief tradingview is a map while coinmarketcap is an atlas.

what do you think coinmarketcap is an exchange,? marketcap is the average price of all exchanges, each exchange has a different price, while tradingview refers only to 1 exchange, when tradingview experiences a price difference on exchange, maybe it's due to network access delays,

It is just a common sense. The prices on your trading view sites or apps are based on the exchange sites that you put there. Coinmarket cap prices are the average prices based on exchanges where the coin is available.
