Doesn't matter if the market is bearish or bullish, the point is ABT is nominated in ETH/CMT and doesn't matter what will be it's fiat value (that's what is falling right now) everyone will count loss/profit of ABT investment in ETH, so with current exchange rate 1 ETH = 1900 ABT what makes 1 ABT = 0.00052631 ETH. If this value will increase you will win if not you will have a loss. If all markets including ETH will raise the price of ABT will raise with it, that's a simple math.

On the one hand, ArcBlock is a very interesting and promising project - promises of Blockchain 3.0 are very exciting, on the other hand, the situation with a strategic partnership with EtherDelta, in my opinion, not very explain the benefits that ArcBlock will receive from it.
