Substratum vs SHIFT

Substratum has been flying last few weeks. I dont hodl any but have heard a lot about this coin. Shift on the other side is not moving at all. Both of them are trying to decentralize the internet. Shift already has a working product Phantom. Dont know much about Substratum. Which one is a better buy for long term?

I doubt it. The coin just went over 20% in an hour.

Anybody know why SUB is surging? Will it correct anytime soon for me to get in?

SHIFT is under the radar, very much undervalued and wayyy better than Subscrotum Substratum which is wayyy overvalued.

SHIFT did not have an ICO, they started from scratch. They have a working product (Phantom) in their testnet and will soon be released in their mainnet.
They have another use for sidechains, one of the first (if not, first) crypto to have a working sidechain implementation.
Read their newsletters on their website and look at their roadmap. They will release a whitepaper at the end of the month and will also update their roadmap with concrete dates.

There is so much more to SHIFT... the community is waiting for recognition. They will start marketing this month. They haven't done that because they wanted a working product first.
Phantom was planned for '17 Q4 which they have achieved, marketing starts now. Get in while it's still cheap. This is an easy top 10 coin.

how can you say that SHIFT didnt move? where you in another planet last month? SHIFT moved from 2.74$ to almost 12.72$, now around 9$... so if that isn't movement.. please let me know what is this in your opinion?

still, substratum is ahead in marketcap cuz of the ico investments. SHIFT actually has a product annd is the better project at the moment.
Looking at the technical details, SHIFT is just better anyway.

In my opinion, SHIFT. It's one of the most undervalued coins at the moment. Everyone talks about it here and it's still stuck around $10. That's because they haven't started a serious marketing campaign, they are more focused on development, which is the right thing to do. Projects that start with a lot of marketing without anything real are the ones that usually don't last, and could be useful only for short term speculation. As soon as SHIFT starts its marketing campaign an gets listed on bigger exchange sites, it'll rise a lot. Its market cap is not that big considering the type of project SHIFT is, so there's a lot of room to grow, and it can happen any time (maybe this month). On Jan 31 I believe they'll release their whitepaper. And I think that the dev team is great. It's a time bomb, and once it takes off I don't think we will ever see it at this price again. It's like PRL or Raiblocks but before their boom. I missed the boom of both (at least the first part), I won't miss this. I would buy now, and for the long term, but that's just me.

Shift hands down. Product works and tram always working. Substratum higher because of marketing. They dont have a product either.

Shift is much older project and team. Also its coin supply is very low so can rise big with
some good marketing.

Definitely Shift. I have been invested in Shift since $0.10, the team is definitely legit though they are under the radar because they haven't done much marketing compared to Substratum. But Shift already released their prototype decentralized website (the shiftnrg.org site), so now they just need some marketing (and possibly another exchange, like Binance of KuCoin), and the coin will easily fly.

I’ve been in substratum since $0.20. Both are good projects with great decentralisation ideals placed for access of free and unfiltered information. That is what I’m all for. I’m sure both projects can co-exist.

Yeah, SHIFT has working platform and SUB will be in open Beta testing. They say in their twitter, they want more people to test, they should started in December but have some delay.
SUB is like "everywhere" they are far far in marketing. You can see them on many top 2018 predictions. Time will tell us, which coin will be better.

Also don't forget about MAID, they working on Internet 3.0 too.
