This is a good move. At least they would know that Bitcoin is not all about profiteering. I am wondering, though, how will they do such? Are they going to convert their Bitcoins to fiat currencies? Nonetheless, the Bitcoin community should be mindful when confronted with these kind of platforms as their money might fall on people who have illegitimate concerns. We have to be wary especially so that these causes sway us to part with our monies.

It is good to know that there are companies that are support social cause, if we all contribute as little we have, we will make the world a better place. Days ago I was annoyed at the high fees bitpay charged me until I considered them very greedy and today seeing that they are organizing it made me happy to know that in the end they are not as greedy as I thought. I hope this initiative helps these children. the life of the parents of these children should not be easy.

I agree, a lot of people from wealthy countries make donations of clothing for poor people in Africa, but unfortunately certain greedy people take these clothes and sell them right here in Africa.

Now this is what I hoped for. It's gives me more reason to use cryptocurrencies. Everything that involves health boosts my interest.
I think that technologies like this is not just for the sake of earning but also helping those who needed it more.

My concern about charities is that how will we know if a charity program is legit. And I agree about what will they do with bitcoins? Turn to fiat? I think volality will be affecting such decisions.

And yes greediness will possibly occur because we know many rich people, group or country wanted to share. And this will be a huge amount. Money turns people into monsters until no good reaches those who needed it.
