This is an interesting time because the solution to a problem which is an alternative to fiat currency, but without its flaws of meddling from banks, is being thout upon. But although crypto partially solve that problem they create other ones. Transaction times, fee, block sizes, anonymity and most of all widespread adoption, among others. I do not think you're late in this field since most people in the world, especially in a developed country, are starting to hear about Bitcoin and blockchain and less than 10% of these people do not have bitcoin. Personally, I think that crypto-currencies are not yet ready for the mainstream because most projects have scaling issues and this year I think that BTC and ETH will solve this problem.

In terms of learning Cryptocurrency and other things related to Blockchain then this forum could help you out and this Blockchain technology innovation is not yet fully adapted in the world so my answer is No you're definitely not late into getting into this Cryptocurrency stuff.
But, if you're planning to participate on Bounty campaigns then honestly you're slightly late or really late if you're real new comer on this stuff because the Merit system in this forum will not let you accelerate your rank because not english speakers are no longer welcome for stepping up to higher rank in this forum.
I hope you'll learn english more but the bad news is that's not an assurance for you to increase your Merit.

First of all I welcome you to your new venture in life, soon you will find how cryptocurrencies will change your life for the better just don't rush and enjoy you are far from being late though it may seem bitcoin has been losing its touch quite lately that doesn't mean it will stop from its present value, plus there are a lot of altcoin out there that are still profitable so you wouldn't have any problem regardless of being new to this field. It is really Now is the good time because because educating ourselves into Blockchain and Cryptocurrency but the real struggle since last two weeks is real.
When we're talking about earning coins and tokens through signature bounty campaigns then the truth is you're late when you're new comer in this Blockchain and Crypto otherwise if you're fluent in english then although it's not an assurance but at least you have small chance to rank up.

You are not late. Infact  you are just on time because cryptocurrency will fly high and you need a plane and not just a train. so get on board and fasten your sit belt.  Don't get  jump in the plane and get discourage if there is a  turbulence that is approaching because it is normal.
