This is an auction for 9 USB Block Erupters, a 10-port hub, and a fan to keep them all cool. Retail value around 6.1 BTC, roughly ~$645 at the time of this posting. That's .6 per Erupter, .6 for the hub, and .1 for the fan.

It was a serious offer.   Find a mining calculator and run the numbers.  This is a very reasonable offer.  Alot of the people on this forum are looking for people to pay insane prices for hardware that will never get their initial investment back at the minimum.  I would probably say that every seller on here is looking for a sucker.   Offer is valid till tomorrow.  Let me know and thanks for your time.

Regarding THIS calculation approved by n4ru, everything more that 50$ per Ghash is not in RIO plan possible.
I just want to buy these with slight chance of reaching ROI

I would say that at 6 BTC with 20% diff increase every 2 weeks you CAN get ROI but it will take a loooong time. Then again, who the hell buys Block Eruptors for ROI? I have a few that I am turning into a lamp shade (not joking) and giving away to friends to promote Bitcoin.

There are much cheaper and more efficient ways of promotion.
And again, I never understand, why should YOU free advertise someone. Oh wait, you are going to BUY units, so even it is not free. You have to pay for others advertising.

If ASICMINER did a promotion giving them away, that we could call marketing. Otherwise, this is complete waste of money.

Since people are wondering: The difficulty is increasing 75% every 2 weeks. It is impossible for any block erupter setup to ROI unless you get each one shipped for .18 BTC, and that's with free electricity AND having a hub to work with.

You will not get your full ROI from this unless you manage to grab an entire rig for 1.62BTC (impossible, even with coupons).

Sorry, but Block Erupters will simply never ROI. I don't think you can realistically get any ASIC on time that will.

Also, just to point out, my estimates are conservative and rely on the unit arriving and working on the 1st of the next month. If you can get a rig immediately running, you probably have (almost) twice as good a chance to ROI. But I don't like to make wild guesses with shipping dates so I assume the worst.
