A coin locally presented to the people, a coin of the miners

The main point of vDinar is to present cryptocurrency to an audience of South Slavs, to make it usable for average people usually not involved in digital technology. Not only a technology behind but an entire team ready to explain the way cryptocurrency works through articles and through presentations.

How to obtain vDinars

As this is neither a token nor an ICO, the only way to obtain vDinars is to mine them or to exchange them with miners. As long as vDinar hasn't been launched the best thing to do would be to prepare yourself to mine them from the start, when the difficulty is at its lowest value. In order to be noticed about vDinar's launch and to start mining it as soon as possible follow these steps to be instantly provided with the necessary wallet, mining software and instructions.

"Jugoslaven" is one of the main ways to share our project when its launched. With an entire social network built in we will notice all our users about our news and let them join the community. As you're already there, you can surf it a bit to check what we've done just to support all this!
Jugoslaven shows no ads, but it implements news from our domain and subdomains in its newsfeed, therefore expanding our audience and making vDinar a solidly based currency. "Jugoslaven Novosti" is a section under the same domain of "Jugoslaven" dedicated to news publishing. It is available only in SerboCroatian language and runs since 4th November 2014.

Borba 2017

"Borba" (Fight) was a Yugoslav newspaper active from 1944 to 1991. Following Yugoslavia's collapse its activity stopped and its company got privatized. "Borba 2017" continues their dream publishing news and thoughts translated in three languages (SerboCroatian, English, Italian) both from Yugoslavia and the world. In this newspaper you'll find news reporting occurences, facts and thoughts dealing with actuality. It is held by 4 writers publishing mostly geopolitical articles.

Your own algorithm? How to setup pool?

It's core algorithm is like scrypt-N, but implemented differently. One could actually mine it with a scrypt-N setup but we'll mind writing the relative instructions for pools. If you're interested in making one, keep us informed!

If it is a lot, it will reduce the incentive for early miners.  Seeing as your algorithm is new, could you compare your teams starting hashrate to X amount of specific gpus ?

If it is a lot, it will reduce the incentive for early miners.  Seeing as your algorithm is new, could you compare your teams starting hashrate to X amount of specific gpus ?

Our algorithm is new but as I stated before its core is like scrypt-N, its mineability too. The difference is the way of introducing the N variable (will do an explanation when possible).
We're just going with average low-level laptops to give an extremely low amount of stability until almost all the users join the mining, we have also choosen Litecoin's starting path for difficulties, I'm sure you can check it!

This project is NOT published yet. If we gave the code away without users supporting the idea the currency would have started with a low amount of users full of coins, which is NOT good for the currency. This will be out on February.

Its always nice to see new algos coming up, especially as each has strengths and weaknesses.
Maybe you should allow the public to see the algo beforehand, so people might review it and find flaws.
This would help the network because a trusted algo is less likely being abused by someone more knowledgable.

Also, considering your early announcement: Let people know in advance when you will start.
This will attract quite some small scale miners because they might get good returns even for a single cpu/gpu setup.
Later on some bigger miners will make it impossible for smaller miners but by then the network should be stable and, most importantly, known by people.
