Ethereum official blockchain wallet questions

Hello!

1. Where can I download the official blockchain wallet for Ethereum? I've tried www.ethereum.org - but I dont want to use the command line.

If there is no option - how can I install the wallet on an external harddrive insted of it automatically installes itself on %appdata%?


2. Also; where can I download the official ethereum classic wallet?

Where can I download the official blockchain wallet for Ethereum? I've tried www.ethereum.org - but I dont want to use the command line.

Here's an link to official GitHub repository https://github.com/ethereum/mist/releases. You can choose between two different reference GUI implementation:
(1) Mist: browser for decentralized web applications
(2) Ethereum Wallet: Mist with preinstalled decentralized web application called Ethereum Wallet

I would go with Ethererum Wallet unless you have some specific reasons not to.

If I remember correctly, Ethereum Wallet installer (.exe file) actually let you choose data folder during installation. If not symbolic link method described above is probably your best bet.

Ethereum classic is a different coin, I don't know why someone would tell you to download that wallet.

I have no experience with ETC so take this FWIW. That said Emerald Wallet seems to be an official wallet client developed by ETCDEV team. Here's a link to its GitHub repository: https://github.com/ethereumproject/emerald-wallet/releases However it seems to be still in its Beta stage, so you should proceed with caution or use some third party/light client.

I definitely wouldn't recommend to use Mist wallet at least until the next update as it has a known vulnerability https://twitter.com/ethereumproject/status/941597927692275712
