Just a headsup that cavirtex has been operational and remains operational after a buy-out Noticed it was on the ignored list cavirtex closing down (False)
It would double - triple the CAD volume.

Thanks for sharing here that the site has been fixed and running again.
I guess this is sarcastic. But indeed is is good to see that there's no problem with bitcoinaverage. I use it as the price tracker in my wallets. Hi tspacepilot, just wanted to say thanks for the consistent kind words. We would have loved to progress the project much further over the years, but due to lack of funds this isn't possible. I guess this is the nature of open source and providing a completely free service! On that note though, if anyone is interested in a role and highly experienced in python please do contact us, we have approx. 80% of an overhaul complete.

Finally found your thread. I must say that your page is great. I am using your API for getting current price. It looks like that (if you want to know how much is 10$ in BTC): I also upload it on github, so everyone can use it: https://github.com/amacar/generateBitcoinPriceImage

Two follow up questions: 1) In the github you linked to, I couldn't find any code, only a readme and the font files and a link to a php program. Are you not releasing that php program as well? 2) Are you using imagemagick to write the image?

I guess I had overlooked it amongst those ttf files. Interesting that php has built-in image generation methods (I didn't notice you using a library). imagefill($im, 0, 0, $bg); imagesavealpha($im,true); imagefilledrectangle($im, 0, 0, 12+$bbox[2]-$bbox[0], $size+2, $bg); imagettftext($im, $size, 0, 10, $size+1, $black, $font, $text); imagepng($im);
I hadn't realized that php had such graphic manipulation capabilities---then again, I usually only use php when I'm editing someone else's code, I never really start a project in php.

It was down for a bit when I first saw your message (and then I worried for a moment too). But it seems to be back up and working now so I'd assume they were just down momentarily for maintenance/upgrades/etc.

Would y'all and the Mycelium gang make it so that the trades on Mycelium LocalTrader are also included in BitcoinAverage, please?
Thanks for your time.

We have emailed them a few times recently actually with no response. Best if you contact them direct, the more of their own users that email in the more likely they will get it done

Just checked out the site and I gotta say pretty nice.
I especially like under [Charts] how you've given the ability to quickly enter a specific begin/end date for viewing or export.
