1.5BTC is currently $25,000.  You need to put up collateral worth at least $30,000.

How you are planning to ship those cars to lender, because you get your loan only when collateral is secured by someone trusted.

for e.g If I'm interested in lending to you but I want the collateral to be secured by someone we can trust or you have to send them directly to me. Wait, who will bear the cost of shipment?? of course you, so, tell me is it still worth getting a loan with physical collateral? No? close your thread now or come up with some good arguments.

As at today 1btc is roughly $16,500. why cant you quickly sell it to make 17,500, at least you will still have some balance to do some runnings and you replace the cars when you make profits from your runs.

You are promising to repay 1.5 BTC, are you not?
1.5 BTC = $24,700
120% of that is $29,640
Your collateral is not worth that much.

Why not go get a title loan from a local creditor and use that to buy bitcoins? On top of that, the car would have to be checked, to make sure it would be worth what youre stating but however if you default, selling for $17500 doesnt equal 120% of your request, but If you really need the loan, this place isnt for you.

Just get a local title loan - if you can't get that, something is seriously wrong with the proposed transaction. Note that title lenders typically don't go higher than 50% of the vehicle's value because, obviously, there are costs involved with repossessing a car including hiring someone to do the repo and defending against any legal challenge. It's really a tough business and, likely, not something any BTC lender is going to want to deal with.
