Hi.

I am new to this forum so I am sorry if this isn't exactly the correct section for this question.  Anyways, I had a question about transactions not appearing on btc explorer websites.  I have been waiting for my money from Faucethub.io for the past 2 weeks.  It was sent 10 days ago, but I still have not received any information about it.  If I try looking up the transaction on explorer sites nothing is found (0.00192 BTC was sent; tx: 9b59d748f8f802a5d42912e5056852dfe23de4ea74127e7f72ea15c3ada656c5).  I have talked to Faucethub.io and they have responded by saying that they have sent it and that the rest is out of their hands.  I am fairly new to these issues, this has never happened to me in the past and I was wondering if this is the same thing as a transaction being unconfirmed?  Or is this considered 'stuck'?  Any suggestions?

If you can't see the transaction on the block explorers, it is neither in their mempool nor have been confirmed. The service have the ability to create another transaction spending the same inputs since they couldn't have been spent.

It might just have poor propagation or they have never broadcasted it. Either way, it isn't your fault and you have to pursue it with them.

Their response...

"i think you will find it is onto the blockchain, there has been heavy congestion on the network, so its probably unconfimed."

Does this make sense?  is it possible for a transaction not to be on block explorers 10 days past sent date?  Should I just wait?  Suggestions?

It doesn't make sense. It could possibly have been dropped by the nodes around the network so it isn't visible now. If its unconfirmed, you should at least be able to see it on the blockexplorers. Waiting will not help.

They remain adamant about the fact that I have to simply wait for the hash id to be seen by the explorers Sad

If I try looking up the transaction on explorer sites nothing is found (0.00192 BTC was sent; tx: 9b59d748f8f802a5d42912e5056852dfe23de4ea74127e7f72ea15c3ada656c5).

I've checked a few major block explorers and none returning any result

someone was asking the same problem as yours, mexicantarget responded

In simplest possible English:

All txs need to cancel/expire so I re-send them.
