Long story short, I had an original paper backup that I imported to the newer version of Armory.  It loads fine but I am missing the comment fields to where I sent these coins to.

Is there a way to restore them? https://imgur.com/a/o1jtx

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

The comments are not part of the backup nor are they part of the blockchain or stored anywhere else. The comments are local to your wallet file only, and if you do not have the original wallet file, then the comments are gone.

Thanks for the help. I think I have an original wallet file stored on one of my HDD's. I also have a paper backup which is what I used for this. I'll see what I can do.
