So I’m stuck, and need some help.

I’ve been mining for a few months now, it’s been great, XMR price increase was nice but with Vega doing amazingly well in mining XMR, I’ve been looking for the next coin, but I’ve got some issues.

Whatever I switch too, I can’t see to get more profit then XMR even when whattomine says I should be.

XMR

Custom XMR-STAK = 0% dev fee

XMR mining CPU+GPU = More hashpower

1% pool fee.

That’s my current stats, I’m running 1 GTX 1080 and 1 GTX 1050TI paired with an I7-6700k and I7-7700k respectivly.
1500 H/s @ $4.50 per day

Miner fees and pool fees + lack of cpu mining seems to keep tanking any profit I could be making with other coins, I’ve yet to find a miner I can remove the dev fee and most pools are 2% fee for other coins then XMR

So please, share your tips, tricks, and what your mining!

Like I’ve said, switched to ZEC and was sitting at $3.90 ish per day, which clearly works out to less then XMR.

I know XMR and nvidia don’t mix well, hence looking for options and some advice.

Rather then laugh man, why don’t you help out and let me know what I’m doing wrong to be getting less with ZEC then I do with XMR

Why not mine xmr on the cpus, and ZEC on the gpus?
You should have 750H/s with 1 1080 and 1050ti, what does the pool say?

Testing this with the 1050TI for now.

What should I be using for the mining software, nheqminer saying I’m doing 13 Sols/s feels very wrong, that miner is basically dead now yeah?

Swapped over to excavator and that might actually be doing better, 145h/s still isn’t quite what whattomine says it should be, OC doesn’t seem to increase much.

Running  excevator on the 1080 with OC is only getting 443 H/s, so I’ll leave this for abit and see how it stacks up with the lower hashes then what to mine says

Alright so finally it looks like we have a winner!!

ZEC - excavator 0 fee miner - nanopool 1% fee - 0 withdrawal fee.

637.9 Sol/s

Already payed out the first days worth of ZEC, sitting at $7-8 now and still running XMR on the cpus at $1.50 per day

Thanks for the help!
