And then I followed the self help route in the link above.

I submitted your transaction in other pushtx not listed in the link given by legendster
For some pushtx site it didn't met the minimum mempool but in other pushtx accelerator submitted successfully expect that your both transaction will confirm in few hours or days. .
If this didn't work you can try the paid service from viabtc
