Can we begin a discussion on this. I've been toying with my diff value on mining-dutch.nl and consistently get between 1-2.5 shares per second.

I'll then get an email saying my scrypt is behaving badly and getting 1.4 s/s!! (is this bad)

I've been doing this on multiple different rented rigs from miningrigrental.com.. varying has rates from 500 m/h to 1g/h

scrypt algo.

Have lots of questions... wondering if anyone else is running into issues like this. What is a good share per second? What should my diff be set at manually to improve?

I don't know if there's a common agreement on how much is a "good" shares rate, but Zpool automatically tunes the difficulty so that you get 5-15 shares/min, and MiningPoolHub's rate feels even lower than that.
