is that  new forums ?? never heard about it till now and it's showing only 1 member active  Huh
also didn't get you post fully ? are they holding a 20,000$ giveaway ? cause I didn't find any thing related to that
if so then most likely it's suspicious and only to attract some members there , but I may got it wrong tho

I wouldn't mind checking other forums , but it looks like it's dead

Yes i think it is also dead forum. How is good if the active member just 1 or mayne i am wrong.
However, $20.000 for giveaway is very big amount and also we can earn our crypto currency that we want. It sounds interesting.

I have never heard about that site. I have been into cryptos since 2016 and the main site for all my knowledge other than e-books and videos, is BTCtalk. The $20,000 sounds amazing, I will probably try to check that site out.

Yes here is the link for the GIVEAWAY they are the new forum, just the difference is they have like any cryptocurrencies and the whole platform is dedicated to 950 cryptocurrenices. Their community is not yet big they been up for one month but now slowly picking up been on there for 5 days now. There is actually a lot of activity it's not as fast as this forum because this forum has been around for a long long time but I like the modern style forum on there it's pretty sweet. Members are very friendly and share a lot of info also about trading, mining, and general.

Here is the GIVEAWAY link they are doing: http://cryptointalk.com/index.php?threads/20-000-giveaway-in-cryptocurrency-of-your-choice.351/

CryptoInTalk has been up only for two months and their posts are all over the google that's how I discover this cryptocurrency Forum... I believe it's gonna be one of the very beneficial crypto forums within next couple months since the community is focusing a lot of free knowledge. Every thread i have made on there about any cryptocurrency I was interested in, I got a full detailed answer. Plus platform feels really nice, the way you build your user profile etc... Feels like a "Crypto Social Media" but forum version  Grin Grin

It is active you can see it as yourself, community doesn't have 1 million members like Bitcointalk has but its slowly climbing up. The CEO of cryptointalk hosted a great giveaway. There will be two winners each will get $10,000 in cryptocurrency of their choice. I'm currently participating as well trying my best.

Forum is about, Pricing of coins, Trading coins, News of coins and community members discuss generally just sharing the wisdom. I posted the giveaway link above in my last post on this thread. You can also see it on CryptoInTalk in Bitcoin section it's Pinned as #1 thread.

You mean like they have entire website dedicated to 900+ different cryptocurrencies?
If i understand you correctly something like:

1. Btcoin Forum
2. Ripple Foum
3. IOTA Forum
4. Omisego Forum

and each forum has that specific cryptocurrency community where community members discuss that specific coin just like we discuss Bitcoin on BitcoinTalk?

I have never heard of it you do make it sound cool though so just making sure. Also $20k in BTC sounds like a decent giveaway from the owners of Cryptocurrency forum. That's necessary to do especially when the community is in growth process. I would like to know more details as well.

I have never heard of anything like that and if it true that the competition is true and genuine, what are the
parameters for deciding the winner?. is it that you just choose your best cryptocurrency and state your reasons
    for you decision?

I heard about them and I think it is a large forum too but I am not too active on that forum. I think many people will participate in that giveaway and they are hoping to win and if I could be a winner, then I think I want to get paid in bitcoin only. in the past, I see that they make a giveaway in the sub forum which giving a gcoin but I don't know what is happening now. maybe later I will check that forum and see how to participate in that giveaway.

Hey brother, yes, that's exactly how their platform is set up. There are hundreds of lists of cryptocurrencies. as you listed above and each of the forums has their own communities. Members are very educated and super friendly, also the moderators as well. I like Bitcointalk community but I also like CryptoInTalk I come here for strictly bitcoins and altcoins but I go to CryptoInTalk for other cryptocurrencies.

For me, right now my preferred cryptocurrency is Etherium. I believe that this year will be the year of Etherium. It has grown more than 20% over the last 2 weeks. Hopefully it will exponentially multiply in value like bitcoin.

I think their focus is too broad, these Alt coins come and go at a very fast rate. There are more than 1000 Alt coins at the moment and most of them are ScamCoins. The competition will be a good start, but users must be incentivised to re-visit the site or it will go down.

I moderated a Crypto currency site and the owner just gave up after a few months. <I think he ran out of money>

You have a good point there. I read on their forum Moderators are strictly focusing on the legit cryptocurrencies. They did use to have all 958 coins i believe according to what i read but owners of the website figured out that with such a community you can't have scam coins being promoted so they whipped out everything and seems like they only left 32 cryptocurrencies. Site looks real and everything but i think it will do good, if you see they also have instagram account @cryptointalk and 70% all the trending instagram posts we've seen out there was all created by them. So seems like they are working really hard on putting the community together.

I have a question for you tho. What was the biggest Challenge moderating the crypto forum? and why did your site owners gave up?
