Due problems with our dedicated server, Neocoin can't be released for Security Reasons...
Daeons run on powerful dedicated servers (not vps), this is why you don't have to add ips like for other coins and the blockchain is automaticatly backed up and stored periodically.
The problem is now corrected but time is not respected, we add 48 hours to 8pm today, there is will be a new correct countdown.
We apologize for the inconvenance.
Neocoin Team.
Dont bother, no one will mine this shit, and those hopeless retards that do wont ever be enough, like 99% of all the other shitcoins out there... you wont even have enough to dump to make a buck... lol idiots

Why you need dedicated server? Crypto currency it's a p2p network you can launch the currency even from your home computer. Sorry for my post, maybe I don't understand something, if I'm wrong, please explain. Update: If you need dedicated server for client files, you can use any of file sharing hostings to do it. Good example it's a FreeCoin: http://www.free-coin.org/?page_id=60bitcoin is more centralized than people realize... Servers are a security to guarantee a strong and fast network.

It's not a problem until you get big dif and all move to the pools, if miners trust the coin you will have strong and fast network based of running wallets of solo miners.

You still don't answer the question about why do you need dedicated servers and a backup of the blockchain ?. Backing up the blockchain is so weird, since there is no way to RESTORE the backup to the network.

I think your question was not answered because there is no valid answer --- if this was an honest , 100% disclosed operation. Not making the source available ahead of time and all these strange delays probably mean that whatever stunt was planned either a pre mining of coins or other trickery to allow a few people to grab up a handful did not go as planned. Regardless it is what it is. I think this had one 'launch' and that was stopped. The members of the forum here are not generally a warm and fuzzy bunch about "second chances" and people not knowing what time zone they are in or keeping the community updated if problems do come up. So there it is. Another day , another coin. Let's see what happens a few weeks or months down the road. Due problems with our dedicated server, Neocoin can't be released for Security Reasons...

i visit this post to know whats goin on here. i read many threads here of coins i didnt mine and wont mine in future.
i read many articles about supercars, but i will not buy them. thats not a question of money.
i read about many things i wont buy or use.
so why should people only read this thread if they will mine it?? dont understand your logic.

stas, you have a cloudcoin logo avatar and you're defending the launch fail here. You must be some kind of fail fan or complicit in both of these abortions to launch a coin.
Either way
This thread is pretty funny to read and the miners have spoken, verdict , FAIL

@FlungSpun: yes, I have this logo even though I am not related to this coin by anything. I can not tell if it's failure or NOT either:) it's about two weeks old. To tell you the truth I don't care if it's failure or not. But again who am I to tell if it's failure:) Do you thing that you can judge if something is failure??? I know you think so it does not means it's true:)

Do you thing that you can judge if something is failure??? I know you think so it does not means it's true:) Good question. I lay down the criteria that I judge by, if it fails to meet those criteria it's a fail. Should you agree with my judgement? No, DYOR Am I always right? By my criteria YES!, feel free to disagree using your own. Cloudcoin squandered potential by killing off community trust with ringer accounts and obvious BS Neocoin has too much shady shenanigans and has now failed twice, woefully both times, again killing of community support. Without miner & community support a coin is nothing, even coins with fair ideas / support are struggling to keep momentum recently.
