I've created new wallet in Electrum and want to check that it is created correctly before sending BTC to this address...
How to do that?

I'm not sure by what you mean by "Created correctly" but there are a couple of ways you can determine that:

1) You might have a seed that it informed you to write down. Just backup your wallet, go into (http://docs.electrum.org/en/latest/faq.html#where-is-my-wallet-file-located) which is your data directory and then go into the 'Wallets' folder you should see default-wallet.dat file or something that you had set.

2) Your wallet would have fully synchronized after creation and would also have private keys to the addresses. Go to File and you can export your private keys. This would confirm for sure that your wallet has the addresses and the private keys.

If you're still paranoid try sending a small portion of your large amount to check. I'm sure it should work fine.
