The DWT of OpenJPEG 2000 allows lossy and lossless compression. I wonder if other bitcoin experts could help and make sure that either mode can be used with bitcoins.

If you work on this, optional benefit is that mode in DWT, specifically to not allow bitcoins. Why? For example, Second Life has Lindens, so they started to get overwhelmed with this... [possibility] (I'm not against Second Life or doing the same in Silverlight for business reasons.)

No joke: you want to be the first one to guarantee an optimization on JP2. If you already know the end-size then there is lots of bloat. Most implementations of JP2 are only generic proofs.

Hint: Remember 8 tracks? Patents expire...

What does this have to do with the Bitcoin forum? Or Bitcoin itself, for that matter?

 Huh Huh Huh

Autogenerated nonsense text or ...? What possible use can a graphics format be for cryptographic signatures?

Bitcoin Core developer [PGP] Warning: For most, coin loss is a larger risk than coin theft. A disk can die any time. Regularly back up your wallet through FileBackup Wallet to an external storage or the (encrypted!) cloud. Use a separate offline wallet for storing larger amounts.

I think he's a bot. Otherwise, he would have replied with something along the lines of "I'm not a bot" when John Smith suggested he was a bot ("Autogenerated nonsense text"). Anyway, for a bot, he's pretty smart - he knows that image formats have something to do with QR codes.

If he were programmed to spew nonsense about "the cloud" he could probably replace the entire marketing departments of several tech companies...

I can't believe this guy managed to post so many replies (~50) without anyone noticing that he was posting nonsense.

I can't decide whether he's an advanced bot or a master troll...
