Bitmark was launched in July 2014, with the ticker symbol BTM. We are in the process of listing on Cryptopia.co.nz, where Bitmark's ticker symbol BTM is already taken (by a latecomer coin launched in June of last year). Cryptopia operates on a first-come first served basis, so we must choose an alternative ticker symbol to be used there.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

I also wanted to change to MARK(S)... but i just thought about it for a second... People will be buying MARK(S) which are .001 Bitmark but what they get will be 1 Bitmark. "I can't vote,I don't see any radio symbol".
Maybe i don't see it as newbie to bitcointalk, this is one explanation I found in the help section to bitcointalk.
