Hi there, bit of a noob when it comes to bitcoin.

i attempted to set up an armory wallet and set over coins. about 3 weeks later i was able to get  the armory wallet connected and set up.

after scanning transaction history my wallet still reads as empty.

I sent    0.00861514 btc to the address generated.

i sent the coins from local bitcoin.

if anyone is able to help me recover the coins i will happily tip

Please post your logs on Pastebin and then post the link here. Also, please confirm that you've fully synced Bitcoin Core.

My guess your transaction had large transaction size and pay low fee so your transaction would be delay if ever you paid a small fee in your transaction expect that your transaction take too long to confirm.
Can you give us your transaction id(TXID) or at least your bitcoin address so that we can check if this is armory bug or this is because you pay for low fee..
There are lots of bitcoin users these days are having this issue and i think you are also one of them ..

Hello. You still haven't confirmed whether or not Bitcoin Core is fully synced. Looks like either it hasn't synced or, for whatever reasons, Armory only sees part of the blockchain. Right now, Armory sees ~225,000 blocks. It should see over 500,000.

If you're running the GUI version of Bitcoin Core, you should see a checkmark in the lower-right corner of the app. Hovering the mouse over it will tell you how many blocks have been downloaded. Right now, the latest block is 503,278, although it'll almost certainly be higher when you read this.

Hi there!

You we're correct.

it would seem that armory is only reading a part of  the blockchain, could this be whats causing my issue.

bitcoin core displays 503339 blocks but my armory obviously didnt.

do you know what can be done to solve this issue?

i accidentally began the block chain download on the test net bitcoin core, could this be an issue?

It seems that your Armory is looking for the Bitcoin Core data here: F:\Bitcoin\database
Quote
2018-01-09 01:25:28 (INFO) -- ArmoryQt.py:1892 - Setting satoshi datadir = F:\Bitcoin\database

Is that the directory that has your Bitcoin Core wallet.dat and contains a "blocks" and "chainstate" directory? If not, in Bitcoin Core, use "Help -> Debug Window -> Information", and then look at the "Datadir" value:
