binance deposit issue

hello everyone,
i deposited 0.01 btc into my binance account 1 hour ago,
i got an email saying deposit succeeded , by my deposit isnt showing up in btc balance, ( its been like 10 confirmations sofar)
should i wait more ?is it always like this?
edit : its has been received now after almost 2hours and more than 10 confirmations,
patience is the game...
