No idea what's going on with bitcoins but yes.. I do think that right now its going down..
The corrections are not something that happens 10 times in a period of time ... They happen once in a while and when we saw bitcoins recovering it again went down at a tremendous rate .. that's really sad though

Now the rate of going down is low but... Still it Shou halt after a while as investors and experts have predicted.

That's normal for free market, now bitcoin is down but it's not the end. There's still plenty of time to wait for the bitcoin to go up again, maybe you need a little patience.

Whatever we want to call it, just relax.  Bitcoin is a sure thing.  It is jist fine and very normal that its price goes up and goes down.  But for sure, bitcoin is still the best and most trusted crypto in the entire crypto world.

I was wondering the same thing earlier. And here I thought only bitcoin is in the red but lo and behold, a quick cmc check shows blood in the streets (Good thing I got out at about 16.2k$). In retrospect, this thing is familiar. It will bounce back again after the altcoin craze is done.

This is what I think is happening not just with the Bitcoin's price at the moment but also all other altcoins - Coinmarketcap decided to exclude "Bithumb" and other korean exchanges prices which are trading at a very high price compared to other exchanges and have a very huge volume about 32.37 % for ripple. As soon as this was done, the prices averaged to a low average making it look like a severe and sudden drop in price. Looking at this there's currently panic selling happening between different currencies in the market at the moment as people assumed it was a drop in price and they fear a bear run. If you want to see the volume just check - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ripple/#markets and https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum/#markets.

Nothing at all. Price go up and price go down. Then price go up and price go down.
It is always like this, I don't see anything extraordinary.
You didn't ask why when price jumped from 12K to 16K so why are you asking now?

Almost all the coins are down today. The market is red and the King itself is bleeding. This is just a correction as the charts are showing us.
A correction was needed as most of the top Altcoins were up and Bitcoin was stable around $16k. Correction gives the coin better chances to increase steadily. The history has shown us that whenever BTC went down it recovered the price with double speed and crossed all of its ATH.

If you panic at every minor dip, then you are not built for Crypto currencies and you should rather invest in something that are

less volatile, with lower risk. Bitcoin is a LONG-TERM / HIGH RISK investment. Once you get that, you will laugh at the short

term volatility. Stop watching the price, because it will make you crazy.  Wink

I do think that this is just a small correction and that we will see a new uptrend anytime soon. In crypto all is about patience. I will just hold throughout the whole year of 2018, and be very happy at the end of it. Im very confident that this will pay out!

I think this is a slight adjustment and you should not worry too much about the current price. For me if you fear you should sell to keep your capital. Personally I would buy more because I am sure the BTC price will increase in the next few days

Its pretty normal, nothing to worry as major corrections are a part of the trend. No trend is there without pullbacks or correction. In crypto currencies, volatality is so high that correction percent is huge sometimes even 30% .I would always prefer to get in when pullback happens to reap some profits instead buying at highs. Thats the best way to multiply u r portfolios effortlessly.

bitcoin is not exactly going down! it is still fluctuating between two prices: $13000 and $15000 and yesterday it seemed (to me at least) that it was getting ready to break out and start the rally but it seems like it was soon so now a correction is needed here (back to $14k+) to go back up again afterwards.

altcoins are getting dumped because they need to get out of their bubbles and since every trader is seeing the bitcoin action is starting up they are dumping altcoins to switch to bitcoin now.

There is a FOMO brewing...

There's deflation and then there's inflation "this condition is usually called a fluctuations" and that is what happens with bitcoin at the moment. However, we must be optimistic that the bitcoin will be back skyrocketing in the coming weeks.
