Please help me, I'm an idiot when it comes to this.

Hello everyone!  I'm not sure why my first post didn't show up so I am going to try it again.

I'm very new to Bitcoin and am trying to get my feet wet but I have no idea how to compile C programs.

I purchased a couple of G5 PowerMacs and I can only find source code for miners and no compiled binaries so I am forced to make my own but as I stated above, I have no idea what I'm doing.

Can anyone either compile BFGMiner for me or provide some kind of guidance so I can attempt it again myself?  I would certainly appreciate it.
