ETC on coinbase ?

On the coinbase dashboard, I found ETC in a javascript list of currencies.

They stated that they are not adding any new currencies right now, so I don't think they will add ETC. To be honest, even if they were adding a new coin soon, I don't think it would be ETC, it has low trading volume, so why would they do it? I know they have BTC and bcash, but they've only added bcash because either people like it or hate it, it's a popular coin for trading, so it will give them profit. If they add another coin, it will most likely be a top10 or probably top5 coin and with a high trading volume.

So be ready now to buy etc if it will be listed in coinbase because mostly it will be pumped.
As i know this news i read in this forum since lastweek and i hope its true news.

It is a top 20 coin and it generally gets 9 figure volume, how exactly is this low volume? I could see them adding ETC because it is one of the coins that has been around longer therefore having a bigger brand name especially because of Ethereum name.

This was the planned fake information provided just to pump the price of LTC, Coinbase already denied Ripple by saying they wont add any more coins.

Coinbase made the statement few days before that they are not going to add any more new cryptocurrency at this time so I think its not going to happen soon same happened with ripple and it grows huge in price but they denied that they are not adding so price came down and at this time I don't think they are adding any.
