Guys, I am currious if is possible to accept bitcoins on my adult website and how? I would like to program my own system, idea is when someone want access to my website, he sent the money to my bitcoin/litecoin walley and server will send him username/password. Is this possible? Does original bitcoin/litecoins cliets have any API for communitating with server? Or any solution? Thank you!

i'd recommend using a bitpay or any other bitcoin merchant-style account, which is easier to maintain, and you don't keep any bitcoins on your webserver...
but what you asked is possible too, needs a lot more programming..

You don't have to keep bitcoins on your server to process on your server.

You create a public seed that can generate public addresses on your server for accepting payment without need or ability to generate private keys. The private keys are generated from the private seed on a computer that is not your web server.

Implementing the blockchain.info API (if you understand coding) or use BitPay if you don't.

Where can I read more on this public seed process. Sounds very useful.

I'm not sure on the web but Armory does it, so you could probably look at the armory code.

Wow, thank you for this hint! We have setup the bitcoind on a server in the private network, updated the IDS, updated firewall rules, setup a honeypot, setup cron to move btc to an warm wallet outside our network... all to make sure that btc of our webmasters are save. Old school - I am so stupid :-( Great solution idea!

Great implementation. You should think about improving video seek and selling the code for it all for people wanting to setup their own sites

Seems like a good demographic for BTC payments, largely male with some facility with the computer. But does anyone pay for adult websites anymore?

Sure! But perhaps not male with some facility with the computer. Only 2 of the last about 10.000 transactions at our adult sites where made with bitcoins. And one of the two attempted to hack our bitcoin gateway with his account immediately. Okay - perhaps really male with some facility with the computer ;-)
