Is there a place where we can see when each two-week activity period starts and ends?
thanks

A parabola (plural parabolas or parabolae, adjective parabolic, from Greek: παραβoλή) is a two-dimensional, mirror-symmetrical curve.  y = x2

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Ok.

By the way, did you change your username?
I remember another user who had the same userpic and text.  Just curious. Smiley

Theymos provided the following information in another recent thread:

This is period #1135. Period #1136 will start in about 11 hours, when the unix time 1374560000 % 1210000 == 0.

It seems that Activity is incremented when unix time is divisible by 1210000.

By my calculations, the next increment should be at unix time 1375770000, which is on Tuesday 6th August 2013 06:20:00 UTC.

Hmm, looks like my calculation was wrong as I didn't seem to "level up" yesterday.  Did anyone elses activity change?

Edit: Looks like my Activity just incremented, so my calculation seems to be out by a day or so?
I believe it happens every second Sunday. At least that is what the original post led me to believe.

The periods are not based on weekdays. They're derived from unix time.

I meant it happens sometime every second Sunday. Just using it as reference.

The period differs by several minutes from the exact fortnight. So the moment will continue moving slightly.
