Sounds neat. As I understand, the site keeps the leftover 10%, right?

The signature campaign posters adding useless redundant fluff to their posts to reach their minimum word count are lowering my IQ.

Yes, that 10% goes for operating expenses for the servers. Cheap but not free. Also it will go towards updating the site and getting the word out.

We are testing a patch to add free BTC in every new account. It won't be a lot, but enough to at least buy a cheap square here and there. I hesitate to announce it yet as the code is still being verified and I don't want to encourage people from holding off on playing in anticipation of free BTC.

We should know by Friday if it can be safely implemented. Right now we are considering 0.0005 BTC, but that number is subject to change at this point, just what we are kicking around.

We are also considering applying the free BTC to existing accounts so that early adopters do not feel left out. That will likely be a manual process later as opposed to the automated free BTC to new accounts.

Does the price ever reset? Also, what are the pageview/impression counts?

Each square has it's own timer, 1 day, two day, 3 day, etc. Each time the square is re-bought, no matter where the timer is it resets to it's maximum and starts counting down again. If the square is not re-bought before the timer reaches zero, the price resets to 0.000001 and the timer starts again at the maximum.

Since this is a relatively new venture, we have only just started advertising, and it has been live for less than a week we have no reliable pageview or impression statistics yet. We do expect them to increase steadily as we increase the advertising the website over the next few weeks.
