Generally speaking, if it is an open source token, you can analyze it from the code, then you can find the relevant code.

How do you tell if a coin was premined or not and the amount?
Usually if there is a announcement thread of that coin here just read it and you will know if that cryptocurreny is pre mined or not. another way is to search it on coinmarketcap if all the supply are already in circulation it is definitely a pre mined coin but there are pre mined coins that not all of its supply are all in circulation. like bitcoin cash huge part of its supply are pre mined. those are the coins that have been distributed to all bitcoin holders after the bch hard fork.
