I don't think that this will greatly affect the price, because all the major miners have already moved to Hongkong and South Korea

I don't think it would have much of an impact as the big players will simply move their operations abroad to countries with a lower cost of energy and loose regulations. Some are even considering renewable fuel as a form of energy (like soycoin), only issue is that China will lose out from the bitcoin boom

What can you say about China of closing their rigs/mining? This could overshoot the price to the moon or plunge the price below the ground?
Those holding btc just brace yourself fasten your seat bet for possible vortex of price.
We all should wait to see what will happened if China actually wants to shut down mining rigs for bitcoin. There are a lot that has been happening with Bitcoin price and China actions recently. The good news about all these China's action is that Bitcoin will always come back.

BTC is not allowed in China, but mining is not forbidden by the famous words, many people rely on mining for a living, and I don't think it will have much impact on the market.

Mining cannot be closed. They might starting prohibiting it on a legislative level but practically miners will always exist.

If China closed all mining in their country then there will be a huge reduction of bitcoin miners and I think it will greatly affect the transaction speed and fees plus and not only huge amount of bitcoin miners but also bitcoin users. I can only imagine that the price of bitcoin will dramatically decrease again and will be hard to recover. Well I still hope that something like that won't happen.

if china is really trying and trying to shut down mining companies it seems like bitcoin will be more expensive because of the reduced worker who can produce bitcoin and china may also try to shut down the mining companies as the results obtained are not so much in line with their efforts.

The Chinese government has been talking about this ban for almost a year. I'm thinking that worrying about a sharp price jump is not worth it

The Chinese government will end bitcoin mining operations in the coming months, a move that could have a massive impact on the price of the world’s biggest digital currency...China has been a central player in the development of bitcoin in recent years, but Beijing has spent the last six months cracking down on the cryptocurrency industry shutting down local exchanges and banning initial coin offerings

If china decides to close the mine I think it's better and can increase the bitcoin price, but we do not know what will really happen and we should have a reserve fund to be alert when the price goes down.

I think that's very influential with bitcoin prices, and it can go up and down, but it should not be a problem for us if we have a reserve fund to trade or in investing.

I think we should stop giving attention to China fud and all thos ban stuff because it's very clear that they are going to stay no matter what. I still see some stores that offer mining rigs in CHina and a lot of ICOs with chinese people.

Are you sure about that? i know China is one of the biggest crypto farmer. If china really want to close their mining farm, i guess other farmers will get more bitcoins.
