mining will not stop. even Bitcoin is all mined. bitcoin transfers still require miners to confirm. but now is the trend, many altcoins have given up the POS mechanism. they started using the POW mechanism. in the future, the mining industry will gradually decrease.

2 - what will happens when the cryptocurrency reaches it limits ( example : bitcoin 21M , ETH .... , and other curriencies ) ? will they win money after the currencies reaches its limits ?

Well right now mining face many problem in particular country, there is regulations that people who mining are charge with extra fee for electricity, and also mining become more complex and become less profitable and also market price make it more worse. But i do think there will be always someone who do the mining things so i do think mining would never stop.

As long as they have supply in their coin you can still mine on it but if the supply was already reach the limit then you cannot mine it choose another coin to mine like now many people are using mining rig to mine different coins and in reality the supply of the bitcoin was few left. If does happen i think the value of it will continue to have a good price.

Looks like mining will never stop. Most probably coins, that are mined will change within time. The process of mining might technologically develop and mutate in the future.

Mining cant stop untill cryptocurrency exists.

I guess it may costs more cheaper in future - miners will not get such rewards as now, but mining always needed to support network.

Yes mining will never stop until there a crypto currency!!  Because mining is always using bitcoin to get some investor to buy there mining  tools!!

I don't think mining will ever stop since a lot of people depend on mining. Probably developers will find a way to make mining as profitable as bitcoin mining.

I don't think people will win money once all the bitcoins or orther cryptocurrency has been mined. Think about it, who will be giving the price? And how much of the price these people who mined everything will receive?

I do not think mining would ever stop until we have BTC mining in action. Miners always are in search of new coins to mine and they keep switching gears. Many are fond of mining for whatever reason and have been doing that for years now.

I understand this poses threat to our environment in terms of heat and electricity that's consumed. POS can be an alternative I suppose.

Just read news that a TV got launched that is capable of mining.

1/ It will never stop. Although mining coins has been harder than before because bitcoins are increasingly rare, but the miner still benefits from this.
2/ As I know, there is currently no limit to the supply of Ethereum. I think the coins value will increase if they reach limits.

No, I don't think it will ever stop. Its profitable enough, of course If you have latest miners or GPUs and your electricity bills are not covering your cryptomining income

Mining will never stop especially for those that have the resources to update their hardware as fast as possible, but for the average person trying to make money with mining is a lost cause, you do not have the experience or the cheap electricity to run a bitcoin mining farm so the best thing to do is to accept that fact and use our money to invest directly in the coins we like.

I think mining will never stop as long as there are coins that can be mined. if bitcoin has reached the limit, then I will do mining on another coin, as long as the coin can still be mined and give profit I will do it. miners will never stop because they will look for other coins that can be mined.
