I think bitcoin blockchain 1.0 will soon reduce its free market share. It is not profitable to spend so much electricity on mining. Just at the moment, the alternative cryptocurrencies are unknown in the media, over time it should change.

Yes, It is still ok if you have the money because Ethereum still has a lot of gap to catch up and it is having fair share of the market because of it smart contracts, think of any project that is on ICO without using Ether smart contract?

I was trying to invest around 5K in Etherium. The price at the moment is around 1.2K and as it looks it is still growing. You think is it a good time to invest ?

It is always good to invest Ethereum especially since last 2 weeks because Ethereum and all Cryptocurrencies are dropping into their lowest level so if you're invested Ethereum last week until yesterday then you're very lucky because we all know that everything will be pumping in the next few weeks and months we will get high profits.
Ethereum week soon surpass Bitcoin's milestones so it's always good to invest Ethereum.

Agree. We can not know the price of the coin for sure and often make mistakes. This is the essence of investment in crypto - risk vs. profit. I think it's not too late to invest in ETH at least because it has a real usage.
