I think that Ethereum is still having a low price so it is not the worst idea to invest in it's right now. The price is $467 per 1ETH, so when it reaches $1000 you will be beneficial.

That is true, and price of it could in near future pump a little bit so investing now (or as fast as possible) is for me the best idea.

But remember the fact that the prices of all alts depend highly on BTC price. If BTC goes up the value of the alts go up so it's best to pile up as many alts as you can and wait for BTC to skyrocket.

I was trying to invest around 5K in Etherium. The price at the moment is around 1.2K and as it looks it is still growing. You think is it a good time to invest ?

Most likely the price will not fall to $ 400 or less.  So I think now is the time to buy coins.
