I'm looking for additional cooling solutions for ASIC mining machines, in addition to the fans installed in the machine already. I'm hoping there are existing store-bought components that I can buy to come-up with something. Low-power consumption liquid cooling of some sort would be best probably. I start with 3 problems:
- I have to put my machine (let's say a KnC Jupiter) on a carpeted floor, 6" from a wall on the left, 6" from a couch on the right, and 6" from an HVAC intake at the rear. I'd like to keep it in this location because it's the coolest place in my apartment and won't require drilling holes through walls to run cables.
- I don't want to open the machine's case unless absolutely necessary.
- I don't want it to be an eyesore.
Ideas:
- Cooling stand/platform: Gets the machine off the carpet. The plate where the platform touches the machine is kept cold by some sort of refrigerant or liquid cooling to chill the entire chassis.
- Cooling container: Machine sits inside of a chassis that creates additional airflow with just fans or with fans and air conditioning.
Any ideas or links to equipment would be great. Thanks.
