I played satoshi dice, prime dice, and coindice
each of those companies have larger bankrolls than you do, so they can play as long as you can, but you most likely would play until you lose... otherwise you would think you are not capitalizing on your potential.
gambling at those games is a loser market.
It is better to trade ltc to btc to alt coin and back. that is a better way to make money -- trading coins.

And that's how they get you making you think you have a chance of winning by showing off other peoples winnings without pointing out the odds to you. I admit, I've put in a fraction of a Bitcoin or two onto Bitmillions but that's about it, I know when to quit, gamblings okay if you do it for fun but if you genuinely believe you're going to make money off it you're fucked.

I was inspired by this same exact observation to make a pure-skill bitcoin gaming site ( www.bitstrat.com). Gambling on chance games only ends in disappointment in the long-run.

You can make money on these games but very little. If you have ever played before you would have noticed that the game lets you win at the start but if you keep playing you will lose everything, that's how they make their money. The key is to win at the start and then withdraw your coins before you start loosing big. When you withdraw don't use the same account again because the chances are that you will lose all. Instead make a new one and do the same thing. This still does not guarantee that everything will always go as planned but it usually does, at least for me

You are blaming gambling and then suggesting alt coin daytrading, which kinda is gambling. What to think of this? I will leave it up to you dear reader .

Remeber that the first rule of successful gambling is to not gamble at all, or at least, is to gamble the money you are willing and can afford to lose
I tried the first and I can assure that it works

"I can't gamble so you shouldn't either, instead do this other form of gambling."
I think most people that gamble are aware of the house edge and the idea that house always wins..overall. However, let people do what they want to. It's their money and their lives. Perhaps someone doesn't like the idea of trading shady alt coins.
I don't care who you are, that's still a form of gambling, and i'm pretty damn sure that wagering 1btc for double profit and winning is a lot more profitable than trading alt coins.
To each their own.

I can totally agree with that. Lost quite a few coins before i quit it. Its like "I can't loose a 50% chance 5 times in a row... Ooh damn! Yes I can." And the precious coins are gone.

ur0pl, your advise is good of course to not gamble at dice sites(or any oher gambling sites at all for that matter). But if people want to gamble, a site with house edge of only 1% or so(like some dicegames have) is of course to prefer compared to landbased gamblin/casinos for example that might have houseedges of 5-10-20%.

You just had luck. This is not how it works. Casino has an edge - few % for each game. For example in roulette green 0 is casino's edge. When enough players gamble statistically a casino will always win (in a long run) because of edge/rake.

Trading coins back and forth in exchanges is not gambling. Trading stocks is not gambling. Trading in forex is not gambling. People trade based on news/fundamentals or technicals/charts or both. They make informed decisions, not coin flip luck.
