Yea, there are a lot of phone scam calls are happening in the last time. It also happened to me yesterday morning, a women asked me if I want to buy Bitcoins for a cheaper price. I just told her that I can use exchanges to buy Bitcoins and I dont know why I should buy at an suspicious phone call!

If someone is asking you to pay their debt, have a take a look first if you do really have just be aware and if you want to join an airdrop and it's asking you to put your mobile number well just find a better airdrop.

I do not understand how people believe in these stories? When you make transactions and transactions not on your own - this should be suspicious

I've heard that Bitcoin phone scams are making their way around. The scams supposedly call and ask you to pay debts or IRS taxes with an alternate cryptocurrency/Bitcoin while others try to get you to "invest" in a fake coin. The main thing is they seem to be targeting people over the phone.

Has this actually happened to anyone?

For the first time I hear from this kind of fraud. You have to be a complete idiot to believe in this. This is only the elderly people can be so deceived. But not a young, sensible person.

This is expected to happen because BTC's value driven these people to do such things,BTC is more valued than gold today people with bad motives will find a way to steal your bitcoins.Cryptocurrency community is growing fast thats why these people starting to adjust their fraudulent activities,so if you ask me dont mind most of these calls. It is better to live in a peaceful way,do not let your friends know that you are into bitcoins, you will never know when will calamities in your life will come.
