If I have 5 Altcoin tokens that I want to send somewhere, it costs ~$1.00 in mining fees. If Ether doubles again in the next year, that price goes to $2.00, plus extra traffic from more ICO's and it continues to rise.
Are there any rumors that will help combat this trend? If I am going to join a small Altcoin community that uses the Ether network, I don't want to spend $1.00 in mining fee to send $3.00 worth of token to make a payment.
This post was prompted by my attempt to send tokens from the Metamask extension, which I am not a huge fan of. Does anyone have wallet recommendations? Mist looks good, but some opinions would be appreciated.
