We all know that currently there are a lot of Scrypt coins, whether Scrypt-salsa, or Scrypt-jane. It almost seems no one is paying attention to the "foundation" SHA256 coin anymore. (Of course, except Bitcoin itself)

People may say that's because the raising of ASICs, any new SHA256 coin, which doesn't not have enough networking hashrate, can be easily 51%ed. Thanks to the invention of Proof of Stake, that it not true anymore.

Bountycoin brings popular cryptocoin techinques to the SHA256 world.

Features:

- Proof of work + Proof of stake
with 5% POS interest, keep your wallet open to claim this interest

- Good old SHA256d algorithm
compatiable with CPU, GPU, FPGA and ASIC

- Transacation Comment
  like CosmosCoin and FlorinCoin

- 0.0001 transaction fee
  a small fee to pay
miners will still have incomes after all coin has been mined

- 60 seconds block time
  minimize orphans

- Trade confirm: 3, Mine confirm: 30
  fast transcation

- 5 coins per block
Day generation: 7200 coins or 1440 blocks, stable reward after 5 days of launch

- Total number of coins 1500000000 (1.5 billion)
enough to mine over 570 years

- Diff re-targets every block
  no more afraid of coin-hoppers

- Slow start
  Block 1-1440 = 1 coin
  Block 1441-2880 = 2 coins
  Block 2881-4320 = 3 coins
  Block 4321-5760 = 4 coins
  Block from 5761 = 5 coins

- 0.5% premined for bounties
  See below
Also helps to defend the 51% attack

- Connection Port: 8512
forward this port in your router

- RPC Port:18512

$$$ Bounties $$$

A good coin is a coin that everyone helps, either mine/use it, or help it's development. BountyCoin has 0.5% premine, which seems "extraterrestrial" in a currently "0 premined" world. But this will be used as the following bounties (which are a lot!), to encourage and reward who helps BountyCoin's development.

Whoever wishes to claim these bounties, please reply to this post and PM me with your result and BountyCoin address. The coin will be send after result checked out.

Also check out http://bountycoin.oicp.net/bounties.html for all the available bounties.

Your name will also stay on the website forever!

!! Priority bounties !!

Besides the fact that your executables do no work properly.  You Premined 7,500,000 coins!  This wouldn't be so bad if each block was worth 500 but each block is worth 1 - 5 coins.

Are you insane?  why would anyone want to mine it, when it's already flooded with coins.

Where do you idiots get your ideas of premine from?  Get a brain behind your coins.

Then Grow a brain.  Your bounties are overly priced!  Shutdown your coin now and restart it properly.  When people with brains start explaining how dumb it is to people without brains, everyone will stop mining it.

Ah, so this is a windows only coin? With windows binary and windows source, you have cut off the LINUX users. good luck.

That's the point, otherwise no one is gonna claim it.
Great rewards for the people who helped this coin, I see no problem with that.

So someone spends an hour to create a Pool for this and they get 500,000 coins.  And your coin only allows for 7500 coins to be mined a day.  It would take the community  66 days to mine 500,000 coins.

Okay are you starting to grow a brain now?  Don't worry, it's a slow process but the brain will grow.  Unless it's braindead.

This would be called a bounty coin only.

Your bounties are overly priced!

People will help and support the coin for free and even donate if it make sense.  So your bounty and premine are outrageous.  Only people mining this are ones with Asics.  I wouldn't even be a node for the bounty.

Next...

I'm working on it right now, I think I found where the problem is. Smiley It has something to do with compiler compatibility.
