max cards?

Hello asap i want to build mining rig with 12-14 nvidia cards(1 rig) but i get remmember there was some limit of nVidia cards i will be mining on windows 10 , can anyof you post the max nvidia cards in 1 rig on windows?

If you want to run 20 , you can do that , but you must have some Nvidia Mining Cards ( MINING-P106-6G ) not just regular vga cards ...

There is some rumors , promises from asus , they going to create a updated bios for B250 Mining Expert mobo , so that motherboard really can support 19 or more gpu's (same kind) , and you dont have to mix the cards like AMD / Nvida.
right now asus have a 13 card limit for nvidia if you are using regular vga cards... if you add 6 mining cards , you good to go with 19GPU

If they're all Nvidia GPUs, I'd go ahead and use Ubuntu or your preferred Linux distribution.

Also, as xxcsu mentioned, if you use the Asus B250 mining expert, you cannot exceed 13 cards without having at least 6 P106 mining-specific cards. (Supposedly Asus has plans to remove that requirement, but we'll see.) However, this limitation is not specific to Windows.

The typical limit was 8 Nvidia GPUs, but that seems to have changed. Note that setup headaches often remain as you go higher.
