Hello, how long does it currently take to withdraw us dollar from Mt Gox via wire?


What if I liquidated bitcoins in Euros and ate the foreign transaction fee from my us bank? how long would that take, via wire

Quite a while, MtGox are having trouble withdrawing to US Banks at the minute and have quite a large backlog also.

It should be 2 days - this the normal time on any exchange - but unfortunately on MtGox it is more or less unpredictable - they might be sending small amounts just to keep peoples hope, but everything else will probably never be paid (or maybe paid after a liquidation and a lawsuit).

Depends if you have any good buddies working @ gox...

There's thousands of customers, and they can only process 10 withdraws a day, it could take decades.
