Why are you so specific about the January 18th? I'm wondering why that date specifically driving you crazy about marking your words! :-) Its good thing really because I'm already waiting for the bitcoin to pop up huge. Bitcoin is so silent at this moment and there is no more marled cap gain since the start of this year. It was expected that BTC will gain some huge market cap in the 2018 year start but may be investors are not ready to take the shot yet and they are still having the hangover of "no free transactions" yet. 

However, I'm positive that bitcoin will never go down than 10K USD because thats the hard cap it is having now and the market cap is sufficient to hold it there. So lets hope that we will see some bright prices sooner and hold the BTC like we did already.

Yes I want to learn the same thing. Why january 18th? I am waiting a huge bounce from bitcoin as well. Hodling is the best. I didnt sell my bitcoins when it hit 17k level but because of up and downs people did a good profit.

I think we are suffering from the scale up issues again and we can’t do anything about it until the next segwit2x happens. Until then people will not take the interest in buying more BTC rather they will sell it and will give more weightage to alt coins. For instance, Ether is spiking lot and this what making everything look crazy and we can easily gain the profits from it. Thats why people are selling and trying to make fortune from different way. Unless and until the problems of BTC are solved we won’t see any sunrise in the BTC yet. Im not sure from where you got the 18th Jan date but if anything is really gonna happen then im sure its good news for us. !
