Yes, if you look at the statistics of 50 top coins, if you invest in any, you would have received a profit in the last 6 months. What if compared with the real sector is a huge profit !

Yes in last half year all coins moved up a lot so whatever you bought you had nice profit. That is not always the case. We might see that all coins prices decrease in next 6 months. So I would suggest him to do some homework or rather go to closest casino.  If he put $500 on french roulette on a number he can get $18000 and dont need to wait half year for it.

Nice story if true, but that kind of behavior will get people bankrupted, cryptocurrenices are investments and in many cases are very risky investments and in many cases they are scams, investing not knowing anything about crypto and making money has worst odds than betting everything to the zero at the roulette, even if the outcome was positive you should not have allowed your father to do that.

Thats awesome.  I told the wife the same thing or maybe just throw darts at a board and see what to try.  Ive lurked a bunch of these (next coins to take off) threads and its like a million different ideas.   though when someone mentions one I looked at , I give that poster a lot more credibility  LOL!

Thats a cool story. But as you said, its was just pure luck. Not anyone who invests blindly without any research will make profit. But nowadays as the markets are going crazy and the overall trend of crypto seems to only know one direction, its very easy to make profits.
I would diversify my portfolio into some long term coins and some mid term coins, mid term I would look into the top ten coins, long term in coins like Aeternity or Ardor.
