Finally got some DwollaBillz into Tradehill today and bought whatever I could afford.  Not day trading, just buying and sloooooowly mining away with the massive difficulty albatross around my neck.  But still, bitcents is bitcents Smiley

I hope we see it push back up near $20 again.  I'm not looking for it to go to $30+ again in the short term, but a consistent $18-$20 would certainly make the mining a little bit more worthwhile.

Be fearful when others are greedy, and greedy when others are fearful.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Funny that you mention that. Refreshed my exchange site after about an hour of programming and the price dropped from 14.5 per BTC to 13.75.

That's how it goes. Price will be price, can't do much to change it.

Help Bitcoins by buying clothes, technology, books, etc. through people/stores that accept BTC. This will increase overall value of BTC as well as mitigate unnecessary bank transaction fees.

I bought 60+ at 14 yesterday, put my buy order in, went to sleep, woke up and BTC hit 13.9 for a low so I got a little lucky to buy at that price, but it worked out in the end. It would have been nice to get in at $11, but my Dwolla dollars didn't clear until Thursday so I had no chance at the low low prices we saw at the start of the week. The price seems to be fairly stable right now, I'll be interested to see how it continues over the weekend, and at the start of next week. Especially with all the harsh economic news that is building daily in the US.

The price seems to be fairly stable right now,

Bitcoins: if the price hasn't changed by more than 15% in the past 60 minutes, it's stable.

Yeah, no kidding. From a market that swings 2 dollars easy, anything less seems pretty flat.

That's part of the fun of it, you have these violent panic swings in either direction and watch people scramble.  Tongue
