I started "hobby mining" in April this year, and then started to build a proper rig. Now I have a 4 GH/s ASIC rig, and today I received a payment that completed a full Bitcoin for the first time.

Here's my rig if anybody's interested Smiley

Nice! Now you just need to solar power that so it will not increase your electricity bill.

Thank you all Smiley
Yes it's slow, but that is part of the reward somehow.

I have big plans for my rig, as soon as BFL ships (in two weeks, I've been told Tongue ) I use BTC Guild at the moment.

BFL standard response to any question about dates has been Two WeeksTM since about last November.

I hit full ROI on my two BFL Jalapenos ($355, including the hardware, shipping and canada customs fees) on Aug10, 23 days after plugging them in and starting to mine. Probably would've made it in 21 or 22 days, if i'd discovered Process Watchdog sooner, which restarts BFGminer when it goes belly up.

I dont know, replacing batteries every few years in your solar power setup would make it unprofitable already Huh

Nice! Unfortunately I'm not actually expecting my BFL gear for another few months yet, so it'll be much slower for me. Thanks for the tip about Process Watchdog, I'll check it out.
