Personally i think its a nice idea and at such a small amount of ETH it might be a fun project to be associated with

How it works
We want to create a wall of blocks (our very own metaphorical blockchain) that shows the diversity and commitment to the community. For 0.00074 ETH (about $1) you can buy your own personalized block. You have the option to choose the color and icon for the block and also write your own message.
There will only ever be 1,000,000 blocks in existance so once they're gone, they're gone.
For every 10,000 purchases 50% of the proceeds will go to a selected charity. In other words, 50% of all proceeds will be split between, and donated to, 100 charities after the sale ends.
Blocks will be released in groups of 10,000 so we can finalize each charity block. To stay up to date, you can drop us an email and we will let you know when blocks become available.
