 damnit i wanted to sell my vibe tokens, but to afraid to log in...  How can i know if its safe. Can a page be exactly the same as a phising site? I bookmarked it half a year ago. Can a bookmarked site allways be trusted or what? Well, if you went through your favorites and you with your balance, everything is fine then you could be in a purse , and that was not phishing I would recommend would set you EtherAddressLookup it helps not to stumble on the left sites |

for my own experience, I found several sites that were very similar to Mew, but I realized it and always marked the original site because now there are many phishing sites that make us afraid to be trapped in such sites.

I also bookmarked it, and it's still safe. make sure the web address is myetherwallet.com because the other address is phishing, I was trapped several times with a phishing address. but I'm still lucky. because all my wallet addresses are empty. so stay alert, and don't bookmark other myetherwallet.com. or use imtoken.

i'm using MEW for a long time since i started crypto and until now my funds is still secured because i bookmark the site long time ago, if you have notice some phishing site then you can report it to their customer support so they can take down those fake websites. |

I have been using mew since 2016 and is always safe, has never experienced a problem or transaction failure, even theft. I saw so many people having problems with mew, I did not follow developments in myetherwallet problems, but I heard a lot, there were many cases of theft. Hopefully this doesn't happen to me.

Just look for the real website. Always check for the spelling sometimes they copy and change only some a little so the user once they log in to their website is they are going to gets your details account and they will be able to hack it. Be careful just look for the real MEW because every msitake action you make for sure they have consequence.

Mew is always safe as it is.
There are so many people who are not that safe and sharing their private keys to others that results hacking.
Some are not into security website and just putting their xhit over the net.
Make sure to bookmark the secured website as always.

I never use any wallet than myetherwallet since i start doing bounties.
ERC-20 tokens always go straight to my mew as always.
It is the safest storage for me as i know the thing to do to be safe.
Any wallet can be hack as long as you will not do the precaution.

if you feel very afraid to use a web wallet then try to use a hardware wallet.

until now I use MyEtherWallet. I have experienced problems with losing the altcoin assets on the MEW that I use, but I still think MyEtherWallet is safe to use.

I wonder why so many people DON'T use hardware wallets? You would be much calmer once you have some)) You won't be asking if some wallet is legit or not every single time. Just spend 100$ and buy ledger or trezor - it's worth it!
And why to people who hold there 20-50 dollars to give for a purse about 100 ? I understand if they had hundreds of thousands of dollars and with such small amounts it makes no sense to buy, and of course mew is safe ! |

Mew is a safe and I never face any problem with it don't doubt on mew check your browser save bookmark and also check is any malware is in your computer other wise all is ok.

I also enjoy the new walletnon mobile. It's very easy to use and reliable. A great way to keep track of tokens. Just memorize the URL and never stop double checking it.

I think that using cold wallet for some people is inconvenient when they want to be able to sell their token or altcoin at any time without having to carry a cold wallet with them. Also these people don't hold those altcoin for a long time, so they don't need to use them |

until now I use Myetherwallet not having problems. I am more careful with phishing websites. many MEW now conceded because of this. I am always vigilant about accessing or making transactions on the internet.

I just imagine sometimes, how it happens when people they they got phished through MEW. It is the is same site I have been using for every of my transactions since I got to know about cryptocurrency. My first ERC20 wallet was created through MEW and till date, it have not had any issue with it.
What I can say might be the cause is if one mistakenly login to a phishing site.

Yeah tere is many pushing site of myetherwallet. Cause it is the most used wallet maybe in this ecosystem. But if you are careful it's hard to get pished. If you use bookmark then it's fine as my concern. But if you find some extention in chrome or Firefox you will find some where this extension always detect the right site. I forgot the name of that extention but if you do some research you will find one. The best thing is you open my etherwallet from coinmarletcap or from their verified twitter account that would be accurate.

MEW is very safe and it is one of the most trusted web wallets used for storing ether and its related tokens that are compatible. The only problem is that you must be very alert on the sites that you visit. There are attackers who are cloning mew site to trick people into getting their private keys. Make sure you enter the right mew site and that's all, you are safe to use it.
